Job summary

Villa’s Construction & Remodeling Inc. is seeking an experienced Sales Estimator to support profitable decisions by gathering information and preparing accurate estimates. The ideal candidate has a proven sales track record as an estimator and is detail-oriented.

Responsibilities include understanding project scope, collecting plans and specs, researching costs, gathering bids, creating estimates, and budgeting with estimating software. A strong background in remodeling estimating is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of home remodeling experience in estimating and sales.
• Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) is preferred.
• Previous experience as an Estimator is preferred.
• Ability to forecast building costs and knowledge of estimation formulas.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Skilled in Buildertrend, Microsoft Office and other estimating software.
• Spanish A+ (Not a requirement).
• Clean record and driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Fully understand the project scope and requirements by studying documentation, meeting with clients, and visiting relevant locations.
• Collect necessary documentation such as plans, drawings, and project specifications.
• Determine the key variables for cost and conduct research to determine expected labor and materials costs.
• Gather bids and negotiate with service providers to secure the best possible prices.
• Create and submit estimates to project managers.
• Budget and forecast using appropriate estimating software.
• Responsible for going to the job site for initial lead.
• Responsible for preparing contracts.
