Job summary

BRAVO Group in New York, NY is seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to support a contract with a public agency client. This full-time, onsite role requires collaborating with engineers, designers, and managers to develop comprehensive cost estimates and assist project management.

Candidates should have at least five years of estimating experience, prefer experience with public agencies or Job Order Contracts, and hold a Bachelor's or at least an Associate degree.

Qualifications

• Collaborate with diverse technical, professional, and managerial staff to coordinate and develop comprehensive cost estimates.
• Participate in joint scope meetings and assist project management.
• Oversee quantity take-offs and cost evaluations based on joint scope meetings and relevant documents.
• Review and analyze cost estimates submitted by contractors, providing recommendations on their suitability for implementation.
• Participate in cost-related negotiations to support project planning and budgeting efforts.
• Perform additional related duties as required.
• A minimum of 5 years of construction estimating experience.
• Experience with public agencies is preferred.
• Experience with Job Order Contracts or a similar construction delivery method is preferred.
