Pyramid Contracting is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pre-Construction Manager / Estimator to join our team in Irmo, South Carolina. Key Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of the pre-construction phase, including planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Develop comprehensive cost estimates and proposals across a range of commercial and federal projects.
• Collaborate with clients, design professionals, and subcontractors to align project goals and expectations.
• Conduct thorough site visits and analyze project specifications and requirements.
• Identify cost-saving measures and recommend value engineering solutions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date databases for labor, materials, and subcontractor pricing.
• Participate in bid strategies, presentations, and contract negotiations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Pre-Construction Manager or Estimator in the construction industry.
• In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and pricing.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field .
• Familiarity with federal contract requirements is highly desirable.
