Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOverview:Seeking a detail-oriented Estimator with strong experience in multi-family and mixed-use construction projects. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting the Construction Team by managing estimates for an active pipeline of projects in the Southern California area.Salary & Benefits:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare material quantity takeoffs and surveys

  • Solicit subcontractor bids through structured RFPs

  • Review and assist in drafting subcontractor scopes of work

  • Prepare and update project budgets

  • Develop and maintain project schedules

  • Perform value-engineering to identify and track cost-saving opportunities

  • Maintain logs and records for value-engineering activities

  • Maintain a database of historic project cost data

  • Provide support to the Purchasing Agent and other preconstruction functions as needed

  • Participate in additional construction management tasks as required

Requirements:

  • Ability to walk job sites and safely navigate active construction areas

  • Skilled in interpreting blueprints, plans, and project documentation

  • Strong communication skills with a high degree of professionalism

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple assignments

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word) and familiar with Bluebeam

Qualifications:
