Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOverview:Seeking a detail-oriented Estimator with strong experience in multi-family and mixed-use construction projects. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting the Construction Team by managing estimates for an active pipeline of projects in the Southern California area.Salary & Benefits:

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare material quantity takeoffs and surveys
Solicit subcontractor bids through structured RFPs
Review and assist in drafting subcontractor scopes of work
Prepare and update project budgets
Develop and maintain project schedules
Perform value-engineering to identify and track cost-saving opportunities
Maintain logs and records for value-engineering activities
Maintain a database of historic project cost data
Provide support to the Purchasing Agent and other preconstruction functions as needed
Participate in additional construction management tasks as required
Requirements:
Ability to walk job sites and safely navigate active construction areas
Skilled in interpreting blueprints, plans, and project documentation
Strong communication skills with a high degree of professionalism
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple assignments
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word) and familiar with Bluebeam
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Experience with Procore and Bluebeam
