Job summary

Diamond Concrete Sawing in Grand Rapids seeks an estimator/inside salesperson to own quotes from discovery to hand-off. You will manage scope, pricing, and follow-up while coordinating with COO, outside sales, and dispatch to keep quotes moving.

You will learn concrete cutting, GPR, and locating as you quote, with a proven process to win work and maintain a single CRM of leads, quotes, and follow-ups. This is a dynamic, fast-paced role with quick decision cycles.

Qualifications

• Experience in estimating, quoting, or inside sales. Construction or a related trade is a strong plus.
• Able to read a scope of work or a plan sheet and know what is missing.
• Organized enough to track many open quotes without a single one going cold.
• Solid CRM habits. Experience with a specific system is a plus, and we will train the right person.
• Willing to learn concrete cutting, GPR, and utility locating well enough to quote the work accurately.

Responsibilities

• Own inbound customer requests and respond the same day.
• Confirm scope, location, access, timing, and special requirements before you quote.
• Prepare and send quotes for the whole team.
• Follow up on every open quote you own until it is won or lost.
• Seek out new work daily through bid platforms and other lead sources.
• Help build our monthly MDOT letting quotes, working with the COO and outside sales.
• Add GPR scanning to every cutting quote where it fits.
• Hand sold jobs to the Director of Service with scope, contact, access, photos, and notes.
