Job summary

Diamond Concrete Sawing in the Midwest is seeking an estimating/quoting professional to own quotes from initial contact through sale. You will coordinate with the COO, outside sales, and field staff to ensure accurate quotes are issued on the same day.

You will learn concrete cutting, GPR, and utility locating while managing a large quotes book, handling inquiries, and coordinating with dispatch for smooth handoffs.

Qualifications

• Experience in estimating, quoting, or inside sales for construction or related trades.
• Able to read a scope of work or plan sheet and identify missing elements.
• Organized enough to track many open quotes without letting any go cold.
• Solid CRM habits; experience with a CRM system is a plus and we will train the right person.
• Willing to learn concrete cutting, GPR, and utility locating to quote work accurately.

Responsibilities

• Own inbound customer requests and respond the same day.
• Confirm scope, location, access, timing, and special requirements before quoting; call back the same day for any missing info.
• Prepare and send quotes for the whole team.
• Follow up on every open quote you own until it is won or lost, and review losses to learn.
• Seek out new work daily through bid platforms and other lead sources.
• Help build monthly MDOT letting quotes with the COO and outside sales.
• Add GPR scanning to every cutting quote where it fits.
• Hand sold jobs to the Director of Service with scope, contact, access, equipment, photos, and notes for dispatch readiness.
• Own the CRM with the team; every lead, quote, and follow-up lives there.
• Be the customer's point of contact for quote questions and scope changes; spot additional work in conversations.
• Collaborate with marketing, outside sales, and business development on campaigns, key accounts, and new leads.
