Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent combination of training/experience.
• 2–5 years estimating in construction or a related field.
• Advanced knowledge of estimating techniques and cost control, with ability to read cost data systems.

Responsibilities

• Review proposal specs and drawings to determine scope of work and estimate contents.
• Prepare discipline estimates by calculating complete takeoffs.
• Maintain backup files with supplier price data and related documents.
• Support other departments by preparing estimates in other disciplines.
• Review design options and recommend cost-effective solutions.
• Perform additional assignments as directed by supervisor.
