Job summary

Integrity Shell Contractors, Inc. is seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our growing team in Stuart, FL. This role focuses on preparing accurate cost estimates from concept through completion, reviewing plans and specs to develop bid packages, and coordinating with project teams to ensure bid accuracy.

You will stay current on local market pricing and trends, evaluate subcontractor bids, and drive value engineering while meeting tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction estimating, shell or structural preferred.
• Strong ability to read plans, blueprints and specifications.
• Proficiency with estimating software and MS Office.
• Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation with subcontractors and vendors.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and deadlines.
• Knowledge of Florida building codes and local market is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for construction projects from concept through completion.
• Review and analyze blueprints, specifications, and project scopes to develop detailed bid packages.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids, quotes, and proposals.
• Collaborate with project managers, field teams, and clients to ensure estimate accuracy and alignment.
• Track and monitor project budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options.
• Maintain organized records of estimates, bids, and awarded contracts.
• Stay current on local market pricing, material costs, and construction industry trends.
