Job summary

PPC Partners is seeking an Estimator in Greer, SC to prepare accurate cost estimates for electrical construction projects. The role involves reviewing specifications and drawings, performing quantity take-offs, and collaborating with project teams, vendors, and management to develop detailed bids.

The Estimator supports planning, budgeting, and proposal efforts while maintaining up-to-date cost data and ensuring timely, high-quality submissions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; higher education or equivalent experience preferred.
• Experience reading construction documents and electrical construction context.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Review specs, drawings, and customer standards to determine scope of work and estimating requirements.
• Prepare disciplined estimates with complete take-offs and breakdowns for PM.
• Create and update estimates using estimating/project management software.
• Submit bids and proposals after internal approval.
• Maintain cost databases with current supplier pricing and labor rates.
• Coordinate with vendors to align pricing with project requirements.
• Turn over finalized estimates and supporting docs to leadership.
