Job summary

Envoy, Inc. - Construction & Development seeks a skilled Estimator responsible for conceptual through construction document cost estimates and maintaining cost history. You will interact with project teams to support design and bidding, update estimating templates, and participate in budget reviews.

This role reports to the Chief Estimator and requires travel to project sites. Strong background in construction estimating, bid packaging, and use of CSI codes is essential.

Qualifications

• BS in Construction Management, Engineering or similar field.
• Experience with estimating cost databases and Master CSI code formats.
• Ability to prepare conceptual and schematic budgets in the $1MM - $40MM range.
• Experience hard bidding, negotiated bidding, bid tabulation and scope leveling.
• Experience in bid packaging, soliciting and distribution of bid documents.
• Strong work ethic, detail oriented, analytical and organized.
• Energetic, flexible, and motivated self-starter to work with a growing team.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Will require reliable transportation and a valid driver's license for travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Bid management and preparation of bid docs and advertisements.
• Obtain, review, upload and maintain plans and bid documents.
• Prepare work scope packages with Project Managers.
• Present estimates with supporting data and visuals.
• Review plans for consistency and accuracy.
• Generate reports with costs, references and summaries.
• Use estimating software and spreadsheets effectively.
• Maintain master bidders list and estimating templates.
• Prepare quantity take-offs, estimates and cost assemblies.
• Assist with buyout, purchase orders and life cycle cost analysis.
