Resource Hub Consulting seeks an experienced Construction Estimator to develop competitive, detailed, and accurate cost estimates for commercial, institutional, and industrial projects. The candidate should independently manage estimates from initial review through final bid submission.

The role requires strong skills in reading drawings/specifications, preparing quantity takeoffs, pricing labor/materials/equipment, and coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers.

We are seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to develop competitive, detailed, and accurate cost estimates for commercial, institutional, and industrial construction projects. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently managing estimates from initial review through final bid submission.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead estimates from concept through final submission across various construction projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, and scopes of work to develop accurate cost breakdowns.
• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and pricing for labor, materials, and equipment.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
• Participate in value engineering to optimize project scope and cost efficiency.
• Support bid decisions and present estimates clearly and confidently.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or a minimum of six years of equivalent experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Construction or engineering degree preferred.
• Demonstrated estimating experience across at least three construction trades.
• Strong knowledge of construction practices, materials, and labor markets.
• Proficiency in construction estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to independently prepare complete estimates with minimal supervision.
