• 2-5+ years of estimating experience in commercial or multifamily construction.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of exterior systems including fiber cement and roofing materials.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and math skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Job Overview

Riverview Exterior Construction LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Construction Estimator to join our growing team. The Construction Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive bids for large-scale multifamily exterior projects across the Southeast. This role requires a strong understanding of siding, roofing, and specialty building envelope systems, along with the ability to collaborate with project managers, general contractors, and vendors. As a Construction Estimator, you will play a key role in winning projects that define communities and help shape our company's continued success.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and bids for multifamily exterior siding and roofing projects.
• Analyze project drawings, specifications, and addenda to determine scope and requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers and leadership to review proposals and finalize bids.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor/vendor quotes, ensuring scope coverage and cost competitiveness.
• Maintain accurate cost databases and unit pricing to support future estimates.
• Prepare bid clarifications, qualifications, and scope breakdowns for submission.
• Track bid opportunities, due dates, and ensure timely delivery of proposals.
• Support handoff meetings to transition awarded projects to project management teams.
• Perform occasional site visits to review conditions, validate assumptions, and support accurate pricing.

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years of estimating experience in commercial or multifamily construction (siding, roofing, or building envelope strongly preferred).
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, details, and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of exterior systems including fiber cement, vinyl, engineered wood siding, and roofing materials.
• Experience using estimating and construction software (e.g., Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, Procore, PlanGrid).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and math skills with attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and related office tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
