Job summary

STRUCTURAL is seeking an experienced Estimating Manager to lead preconstruction strategy and build a high-performing estimating team across our New England operations. This key leadership role will drive bid strategies, oversee complex pursuits over $10M, and partner closely with business development, operations, and engineering teams.

You will lead, mentor, and develop the estimating team, drive conceptual and design-build estimates, and develop market-informed bid strategies to win work.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction estimating experience.
• Leadership of estimating or preconstruction teams.
• Experience with large, complex projects ($10M+)
• Strong background in design-build and conceptual estimating.
• Proficiency in estimating tools, Excel, and construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of estimators.
• Oversee all estimating and preconstruction for the branch.
• Drive conceptual and design-build estimates for complex projects.
• Develop bid strategies using market data.
• Partner with BD, operations, and engineering to win work.
• Support client presentations, proposals, and interviews.
• Identify and mitigate risk during preconstruction.
