Job summary

Central Power Systems & Services in the United States is seeking a Construction Equipment Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a full line of equipment. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and prepare detailed repair scopes for quotes, while building strong relationships with customers and vendors.

Responsibilities include reading electrical and hydraulic schematics, maintaining safety and quality standards, and meeting assigned labor times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, technical training a plus.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for hydraulic, electrical, and diesel systems.
• Ability to read OEM specs, schematics, service and parts diagrams.
• Safe, organized work practices and willingness to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair on full line of construction equipment.
• Diagnose issues and complete repairs within standard labor times.
• Build repair quotes with detailed parts and labor scopes.
• Read and interpret electrical/hydraulic schematics and blueprints.
• Maintain customer, vendor, and factory relationships.
• Willingness to work overtime and be on rotating on-call list.
• Conduct pre/post-trip inspections on service trucks per DOT regulations.
