Job summary

Hugg and Hall Equipment Company is seeking an Outside Rental Sales Representative to join our team in Louisiana. The role focuses on rental sales, building and maintaining customer relationships, and generating new rental business within the assigned territory.

You will rent industrial and construction equipment, manage the rental order process across departments, and ensure customer satisfaction through strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-3 years sales-related experience.
• Working knowledge of construction and industrial equipment; experience in construction or similar industry a plus.
• Excellent computer skills.
• College degree in business or sales field preferred (high school education required).
• Ability to present and sell at all customer levels.
• Able to function efficiently in a team-oriented, collaborative work environment.
• Minimum 21 years of age with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Rent industrial and construction equipment by making in-person sales calls with existing customers and identifying new prospects.
• Develop, maintain and manage strong customer relationships, respond to inquiries, maintain product knowledge, and research equipment/parts to meet requirements.
• Manage the rental order process across multiple departments to provide ongoing support and project updates to customers and internal teams.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and successful project completion using excellent communication and a teamwork mindset.
