Sequoia Equipment Company is a CASE Construction Equipment Dealership located in Central California with over 30 years of experience. We provide comprehensive sales, parts, and service support, including rental and leasing programs for Case customers. Our dynamic and growing company offers an environment that fosters individual growth and rewards performance.

Our Bakersfield, CA dealership is seeking experienced outside Sales Professionals to join our team as we continue to expand.

The Sales Professional will be responsible for developing new business and maintaining accounts across our entire line of CASE construction equipment, including loaders/backhoes, excavators, motor graders, wheel loaders, vibratory compaction rollers, crawler dozers, skid steer loaders, compact track loaders, loader tool carriers, and rough-terrain forklifts.

The customer base includes Contractors, Utilities, Municipalities, Corporations, and Industrial organizations within the Sequoia Equipment Company dealer territory.

This is an outside sales position responsible for achieving satisfactory sales volume and gross profit margins. The role requires the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and to carry out additional duties as assigned by management due to operational needs.

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of sales experience in construction machinery, heavy equipment, or farm equipment industry, preferably within a dealership environment.
  • Ability to develop new business and maintain existing accounts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build business relationships with customers and employees.
  • College degree is preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in computer literacy and MS Office.
  • Self-motivated and driven individual.
