Job summary

Holder Construction in Culpeper, VA is seeking an Operator to join the Operations team. This full-time role involves moving materials safely with equipment and supporting other site tasks in a fast-paced construction environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of operator experience with certifications, OSHA 10 (OSHA 30 preferred), and the ability to lift 50–100 lbs. Forklift and MEWP training are a plus. The job requires outdoor work, overtime, and strict safety adherence.

Qualifications

• 1 year of operator experience with certifications.
• Must understand safety and general constructability knowledge, able to work side by side with the team when necessary and demonstrate ownership of assigned tasks, maintain professionalism, OSHA 10 training at minimum/30 preferred, forklift (all kinds) and fall protection trained, mobile elevated work platform trained (boom and scissor).
• Experience with operating a skid steer and water truck is a huge plus.
• Must be agile/mobile, remain alert, be able to stand or walk for long periods of time, use fingers, hands & arms to reach, handle and manipulate objects, climb up/down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects.
• Work on uneven surfaces/heights, be able to read/write, and can see & hear well either naturally or with correction.
• Must be able to lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes weighing 50-100 lbs., 75% of the time.
