NiSource is hiring for a position based near St. Clairsville, OH. The role requires living within 25 miles (30 minutes) of the reporting location and maintaining that residence while employed.

Pay is $40.10 per hour, with no relocation assistance offered. Primary duties include operating light earth-moving equipment and assisting with mains installation and repair. The ideal candidate will hold a Class A CDL, a valid driver's license, and be capable of passing physical tests, while showcasing

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Class A CDL.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to operate company vehicles.
• Must be capable of passing applicable physical capacity tests.
• Must be detail-oriented and able to follow through on assignments with limited direction.
• Requires the ability to organize and prioritize duties and responsibilities.
• Must be able to document records and understand written and oral communications.
• Must be able to perform basic arithmetic calculations.
• Mechanical aptitude and knowledge and/or experience of hand tools is required.

Living Requirements

Must live within 25 miles or 30 minutes of Reporting Location (66876 Pogue Road, St. Clairsville, OH 43950)

Pay Rate: $40.10 per hour

Residency Requirements: Due to the nature of our business and your emergency response obligations, the successful candidate must live within 25 miles or 30 minutes from the Operating Center and maintain permanent residence in this living requirement while employed by Columbia Gas.

Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

*The salary offered to a candidate is based on several factors including but not limited to the candidate’s skills, job-related knowledge, and relevant experience, as well as internal pay equity.
