Job summary

Enovate Consulting LLC is seeking an Environmental Compliance Field Inspector with 3–5 years of experience to monitor construction activities for environmental compliance across the NY/NJ metro area. You will review work plans, prepare technical reports and communicate findings to project stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical writing and analytical skills, be able to interpret environmental specifications and regulatory requirements, and travel as needed to project sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, geology or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of prior experience performing construction site inspections.
• Strong writing, analytical and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel throughout the NY/NJ Metro Area.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform field audits of environmental documentation and field activities.
• Provide oversight of construction as it relates to environmental compliance.
• Review Construction Work Plans and regular reporting on compliance with FEIS/ROD and environmental permitting standards.
• Prepare daily activity reports.
• Write technical reports and attend on-site meetings.
• Ability to interpret scientific data and specifications.
