Role & Responsibilities

• Manage mitigation projects from pre-award to closeout, coordinating with relevant authorities.
• Draft and review project agreements and modifications.
• Evaluate grant applications for eligibility and feasibility.
• Submit applications for FEMA funding.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance.
• Monitor ongoing projects and manage documentation and payments.
• Analyze financial and grant data.
• Support federal and state reporting requirements.
• Track budgets and communicate financial status.
• Stay updated on federal regulations related to funding programs.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and government agencies.
• Assist in project performance management and final inspections.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 1+ years of experience in engineering, construction, or related internships.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% within Florida's Panhandle.
• Knowledge of FEMA benefit-cost analysis is a plus.
