Clark Construction Group in Washington, DC is seeking engineering graduates-in-training to build a comprehensive understanding of our business from day one. You’ll gain formal training, mentorship, and hands-on experience across project management, field management, and business operations on active construction sites.

You’ll rotate through project management, field operations, and development tasks, develop budgeting and purchasing skills, and contribute to client relationships.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree (or equivalent) or a master's degree, with an expected graduation in Winter 2026 or Spring 2027
• Interest and passion for the construction industry

Responsibilities

• Project Management — Financial Management: Review gross billings, track change orders, and subcontractor requisitions
• Project Management — Document Control: Manage the submittals, RFI, and material tracking process
• Project Management — Trade Partner Success: Plan with subcontractors for successful field installation
• Field Management — Quality Control and Safety: Monitor trades with emphasis on quality and safety
• Field Management — Project Schedule: Assist with schedule management and site logistics
• Field Management — Critical Thinking: Resolve unforeseen challenges within installation and coordination
• Project Development — Budgeting: Review initial contract documents and bids
• Project Development — Estimating: Perform quantity takeoffs and bid pricing
• Purchasing — Collaborate on subcontractor agreements and scope management
• Additional Responsibilities — Drive Stakeholder Success, Foster Business Growth, Recruit Next Generation of Talent
