JOB SUMMARY

Assist in general construction labor.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for understanding, upholding, and promoting the Everus 4EVER Strategy: Employees | Value | Execution | Relationships.

Promote ESI's Core Values and safety culture. Primary duties include assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, fixtures, and devices using hand tools and power tools.

  • Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other devices and components.
  • Fasten small metal or plastic boxes to walls to house electrical switches or outlets.
  • Place conduit inside designated partitions, walls, or other concealed areas, and pull insulated wires or cables through the conduit to complete circuits between boxes.
  • Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job specifications and local codes.
  • Test electrical systems and circuits using testing devices such as multi-meters to ensure compatibility and safety.
  • Work from ladders, scaffolds, lifts, and roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Indentured in an approved IBEW apprentice program.
  • Journeyman electrical license.

REQUIRED KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Ability to work independently following set criteria with supervision of site leadership.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Union benefits include a defined benefit pension plan, defined contribution plan, 401(k), health & welfare plan, HRA, and other insurance benefits. The wages for Journeyman Inside Wireman are $36.50/hour, with total annual earning potential of approximately $124,009.60 based on 2,080 hours/year.
