Job summary

Stryker Electrical Contracting Inc. seeks an Industrial/Commercial Electrician Foreman to lead field teams on electrical construction projects in the Sarasota area.

You will oversee daily site operations, enforce safety, manage schedules, and ensure high-quality workmanship across commercial and residential sites. The ideal candidate brings at least 6 years of electrical experience, hands-on leadership, NEC code knowledge, and strong blueprint reading skills.

Qualifications

• 6+ years electrical experience
• Experience as foreman on commercial and residential projects
• Knowledge of NEC codes
• Proficient reading of blueprints/drawings
• Valid driver's license with clean record
• Living in Manatee/Sarasota County or willing to commute to northern Sarasota area

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations on electrical projects.
• Ensure safety, on-time completion, and high-quality workmanship.
• Read and interpret blueprints/drawings for job execution.
• Coordinate with crews and manage switchgear installations.
• Ensure work aligns with NEC codes and project specs.
• Maintain a clean driving record and field readiness.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Industrial/Commercial Electrician Foreman to lead our field teams on a variety of electrical construction projects. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily site operations, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Commercial Foreman Experience
• Residential Foreman Experience (At least has experience in residential work)
• Experience and knowledge of all kinds of switchgear packages
• Experience in EMT conduit bending and large conduit rack layouts
• Experience in high-end luxury homes
• Knowledge of NEC codes
• Speaks fluent English
• Clean Driving record
• Can read Blueprints/Drawings
• Lives in Manatee/Sarasota County. Job sites range from Pinellas to Fort Myers. The projects that are upcoming we need this person for are all located in the northern Sarasota area.
