Job summary

Allan Myers Inc. is seeking a Construction Drone Pilot to operate unmanned aerial systems for surveying, construction progress tracking, safety inspections, and BIM integration. Responsibilities include aerial surveying, GCP verification, LiDAR data capture, and generating 3D models for project planning.

The role requires FAA Part 107 certification, 2+ years of drone flight experience, and ability to travel between job sites; construction tech platforms integration is expected.

Qualifications

• FAA Part 107 is required before start date.
• Two or more years of professional drone flight experience.
• Knowledge of completing a Part 107 Waiver from the FAA.
• Preference for LiDAR experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform aerial surveying and mapping using UAS.
• Establish and verify Ground Control Points with GNSS/GPS.
• Capture high-resolution imagery and LiDAR data for mapping and quantity calculations.
• Generate orthomosaics, DSMs/DTMs, and 3D models for planning and execution.
