Job summary

Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a national manufacturer in Cottonwood, MN to place a Drafter in a full-time, on-site role. The Drafter will create construction documents, SIP shop drawings, and panel plans for diverse building projects, while reviewing specifications and CAD models for accuracy and compliance.

The ideal candidate has AutoCAD proficiency (Revit or similar software a plus), a solid math background, and strong communication and organizational skills to manage multiple

Qualifications

• 1+ year of drafting and/or AutoCAD experience preferred.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD required; Revit or similar drafting software experience preferred.
• Strong math aptitude and understanding of structural and architectural concepts.
• Excellent communication, organization, multitasking, and attention-to-detail skills.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed construction documents, SIP shop drawings, and panel plans for a variety of building projects.
• Review project specifications, CAD models, and drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with requirements.
• Analyze project information and determine the most effective panel layouts and design solutions.
• Communicate technical information with clients, project managers, engineers, and internal team members.
• Maintain organized project documentation while managing multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
