Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Current IDOT Construction Documentation certificate or ability to obtain while employed.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in Construction Engineering/Inspection.
• Ability to travel throughout the Chicago area.
• Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of HMA, PCC and earthwork.

We are currently seeking a Construction Engineer with a strong background in construction documentation to help serve our connection of clients and community. Compensation: $35.00 - $60.00 / hour

The Construction (Documentation) Engineer will play a pivotal role in creating, managing and maintaining technical documentation to support infrastructure projects, systems and processes, as well as ensuring the contractor is performing the work in accordance with project plans and specifications in accordance with construction industry standards. The base salary range for this role is indicated in the posting. This range reflects the company’s good faith estimate of the compensation for this position at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, internal equity, and geographic location.

Your Primary Responsibilities will include

What you'll need
