Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson, Inc. is seeking CDS operators to staff PennDOT and PA Turnpike assignments for the Mon/Fayette Expansion Project from our Pittsburgh team. The role focuses on construction documentation, payment requests, and ensuring comprehensive project records.

Candidates should have 4+ years CDS experience on PennDOT/PA Turnpike projects, strong math skills, and reliable transportation. This is an on-site position with opportunities to engage with field staff and clients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (may be substituted for experience).
• 4+ years of Construction Documentation (CDS) experience on PennDOT or PA Turnpike projects.

Responsibilities

• Review and prepare contractor’s payment requests.
• Manage and maintain project documentation (PSA reviews, SOS, DBE work).
• Assist in preparing work authorizations and work orders.
• Proficient in math and able to check calculations by field inspectors.
• Coordinate with field staff to ensure proper documentation of construction operations.
• Assist with project closeout and final invoicing and documents.
• Interact with client representatives, auditing firms, and sub-consultants.
