In this role, you will perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide variety of construction equipment, both in the shop and out in the field. Mechanical Diagnostics & Repair:* Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and transmissions.* Use diagnostic tools and software to identify mechanical issues and make data-driven repairs.2. Preventive Maintenance:* Perform scheduled PMs on construction equipment and fleet vehicles to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment life.* Conduct inspections of tires, fluid levels, filters, and wear components using checklists and OEM guidelines.3. Field Service & Emergency Repairs:* Respond to equipment breakdowns on job sites and perform field-based repairs quickly and safely.* Communicate with operators and supervisors to assess issues and determine repair priorities.4. Equipment Variety & Versatility:* Maintain and repair a wide range of equipment including: Excavators, dozers, loaders, pavers, rollers, dump trucks, trailers, and company trucks.* Flex between shop work and field support based on operational needs.5.
