Job summary

Kokosing Construction is seeking a Construction Design Engineer in Westerville, OH to plan, design, and review temporary construction schemes for bridge and highway projects.

You will collaborate with field operations, coordinate schedules and submittals, and ensure plans meet contract and safety requirements, with opportunities to work with a skilled project team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of design and construction engineering experience on bridge/highway projects.
• Professional Engineer license in Ohio and/or West Virginia, or ability to obtain.
• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and review temporary construction schemes for bridges/highways.
• Collaborate with operations to develop means, methods, and construction plans.
• Coordinate project schedules to meet engineered submittal deadlines.
• Ensure plans comply with contract and safety requirements.
