Job summary

CBRE's Global Workplace Solutions Local team seeks a Construction Project Manager to oversee client construction projects, ensuring on-time delivery, budget control, and compliance with drawings and specifications. You will review cost budgets, change orders, subcontracts, and permits, prepare status reports, and coordinate with engineering and design teams.

Bachelor's in related field and 4+ years' experience are expected; PE or RA licensure desired; strong communication and organizational

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum four or more years' construction administration, architecture, engineering or similar experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct periodic site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure work aligns with drawings and specs.
• Review cost budgets, subcontracts, change orders, and lien waivers; opine on contingency adequacy.
• Prepare Project Status Reports and recommend construction fund releases.
• Review contracts, drawings, specs for completeness and compliance with best practices.
• Prepare Construction Risk Assessment Reports and coordinate with stakeholders.
