Job summary

McCrea Equipment Company, Inc. in Temple Hills, MD is seeking a Delivery Driver to safely transport materials to construction sites and other locations. You will operate company vehicles, load and unload materials, and ensure deliveries are accurate and timely.

The role requires a valid driver's license, a DOT medical card or ability to obtain one, and a Monday–Friday schedule with overtime as needed. Pay ranges from $17 to $19 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package where eligible.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Valid DOT medical card required, or ability to successfully complete the required DOT physical and obtain medical certification.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to deliver materials, equipment, and supplies to construction sites, manufacturing facilities, and other designated locations.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload bundles of pipe, flues, line sets, HVAC components, and other construction-related materials using safe material-handling practices.
• Follow all applicable DOT requirements, traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures.
• Perform required vehicle inspections and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Ensure loads are properly secured and delivery routes are planned for safe and efficient transportation.
• Maintain assigned vehicles in a clean, organized, and safe condition and maintain required DOT documentation.
• Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, supervisors, and construction personnel.
• Wear company-provided PPE and follow all required safety practices while performing deliveries and working at job sites; perform other duties as assigned.
