Job summary

BCG Attorney Search in Tampa, FL seeks a Litigation Associate with a focus on Construction Defect to manage a busy caseload from intake to resolution. You will work closely with senior attorneys and staff to develop case strategies for complex construction disputes.

Qualifications

• Active license to practice law in Florida and admission to federal court.
• Progressive litigation experience in construction, construction defect, or complex commercial litigation.
• First chair trial or arbitration experience preferred.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of construction defect matters from intake through resolution.
• Conduct legal research, draft and argue motions, briefs, and pleadings, and take depositions.
• Engage actively in discovery, motion practice, and arbitration or trial preparation.
• Prepare and participate in arbitration or trial.
