Your Role: Legal Assistant – Construction Litigation
Responsibilities
As a Legal Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting attorneys by managing case files, assisting with litigation procedures, and maintaining attorney schedules. Your responsibilities include:
Legal Document Preparation & Review: Assisting with drafting, proofreading, and formatting legal documents, including correspondence, pleadings, and discovery materials.
E-Filing & Court Procedures: Handling state e-filing processes and ensuring all case documents are properly submitted and recorded.
Subpoena & Case File Management: Tracking and organizing subpoenas, discovery requests, and case-related documentation to ensure accurate record-keeping.
Attorney Scheduling & Calendar Management: Managing court deadlines, hearings, and depositions while ensuring schedules remain up to date.
Exhibit & Evidence Collection: Assisting in the gathering and organization of exhibits to accompany discovery responses.
Time Entry & Administrative Support: Managing attorney time entries and performing various administrative tasks to ensure the efficiency of the litigation team.
