Portland Utilities Construction Co., LLC, an Azuria Water Solutions company, seeks a Construction Crew Superintendent - CIPP in Knoxville, TN to lead sewer rehabilitation projects using pipe bursting and UV CIPP lining. You’ll manage crews, schedules, and safety on complex underground utilities jobs.

The role requires 3–5 years as a Foreman/Superintendent and 5–10 years in sewer/water work. Travel 90% with per diem and lodging; sign-on incentives for CDL holders are available.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
• 3–5 years as Foreman or Superintendent and 5–10 years in sewer and water pipe installation or heavy construction.
• Knowledge of pipe bursting, CIPP lining, service installations and equipment setup for line and grade.
• Proficiency with MS Office; strong communication, organizational and leadership skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs and operate heavy equipment.
• Travel readiness: willing to travel ~90% of weekdays with per diem and lodging supplied.

We’re looking for a Construction Crew Superintendent - CIPP in Knoxville, TNto oversee sewer rehabilitation projects using innovative methods like pipe bursting, UV CIPP lining, and other underground utility techniques. We are currently offering a limited-time sign-on bonus of $4,000 for new hires with a valid CDL license, and sign-on bonuses for new hires without a current CDL license are also available at a reduced amount. New employees who meet the criteria outlined in our sign-on bonus program will be eligible for the full payout.

The starting salary is $95,000 per year. We offer 100% paid on-the-job training!

What You’ll Do

What We Need

Must-Have:

• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Experience: 3–5 years as a Foreman or Superintendent and 5–10 years in sewer and water pipe installation or heavy construction.
• Technical Expertise: Knowledge of pipe bursting, CIPP lining, service installations, and equipment setup for line and grade, and the ability to operate machinery.
• Skills: Proficiency with MS Office (Word/Excel), excellent communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.
• Physical Ability: Lift up to 40 lbs and operate heavy equipment with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Travel Readiness: Willing to travel 90% of the time during weekdays with weekends typically at home. Includes per diem and company-provided lodging.

Nice-to-Have:

• Class A or B CDL license or can obtain one.
• Strong electrical background and knowledge of traffic plans.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
• Familiarity with safety and emergency procedures.
• Leadership experience in construction project management.
