Job summary

Habitat for Humanity of the Charlotte Region seeks a Construction Crew Leader for a one-year AmeriCorps service term in Charlotte, NC. You will lead groups of volunteers to build and repair homes, manage safe, efficient on-site operations, and deliver hands-on construction experience across multiple trades.

Typical duties include guiding volunteers, coordinating tasks, and ensuring compliance with safety policies while delivering impact for families and the community.

Responsibilities

• Lead groups of volunteers and homeowner families in construction activities.
• Assist with hands-on construction tasks: demolition, site prep, framing, insulation, drywall, flooring, roofing, finish carpentry and landscaping.
• Maintain site safety by adhering to Habitat safety policies and guidelines.
