Job summary

Eldorado Climbing in Louisville, CO is seeking a Construction Assistant Foreman to lead on commercial climbing-related builds. Full-time on-site role requiring 3+ years of hands-on construction, carpentry, and strong leadership to manage crews and daily reports.

You will plan, install, supervise, and communicate with Foreman and clients; travel with varying schedules, lift up to 80 lbs, and comply with OSHA. Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, and a retirement plan.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on construction experience including ownership of basic tools.
• Carpentry experience required.
• Strong leadership and crew management experience preferred.
• Commercial job site experience and knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Excellent communication with Foreman, crew, and client.
• Eye for craftsmanship; ability to describe visual elements and give feedback to craftsmen.
• Excellent organizational skills; manage daily reports, schedules, and payroll reporting.
• Willingness to travel and work varying schedules including weekends.
• Ability to lift 80 lbs and stand for 10 hours per day.
• Valid Driver’s license.
• Trade certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Blueprint reading and layout.
• Welding using SMAW (stick welding).
• Use of PPE and rope access systems.
• Panel installation and finish carpentry.
• Shotcrete application and rock carving (preferred).
• General construction skills and knowledge of fasteners.
• Operate jobsite equipment including forklift, scissor lift, and boom lift.
• Review plans with Foreman and monitor project sequence to avoid conflicts.
