Job summary

Haydon seeks a Corporate Counsel to provide legal counsel across a broad range of business matters. The role partners with the General Counsel to manage legal affairs, review and negotiate contracts, and ensure regulatory compliance in the construction industry.

As a trusted advisor, you will collaborate with operations, HR, safety, finance, and leadership to mitigate risk, support governance, and advance strategic objectives while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and ethics.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from ABA-accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing of the State Bar of Arizona, or eligible to practice in Arizona.
• Minimum 3–5 years of legal experience representing construction-related clients and negotiating commercial contracts.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely legal counsel and practical guidance on rights, obligations, and risks across contracts, risk, compliance, and governance.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and interpret owner contracts, subcontracts, NDAs, licensing, and other commercial agreements.
