Job summary

Pegasus Search & Selection is seeking an experienced Cost Manager to join a global leader in Cost & Project Management, working on major commercial real estate, mixed-use and infrastructure projects across Tampa, Florida.

You will support clients throughout the full project lifecycle, from estimating and procurement through cost control, change management and final account, collaborating with project teams on complex programmes.

Qualifications

• Cost management/quantity surveying experience in construction consultancy.
• Experience on medium to large-scale construction projects (commercial/high-rise/mixed-use/data centres).
• RICS accreditation or working towards chartership.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project estimates, cost plans, forecasts and budgets.
• Lead procurement activities including tender analysis and vendor assessment.
• Provide cost reporting, forecasting, risk management and value engineering advice.
• Manage cost control, payment applications, change orders and commercial issues.
• Support clients through pre- and post-contract stages.
• Benchmark project performance and costs against comparable projects.
• Manage final accounts, post-contract audits and project close-out.

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Cost Manager to join a global leader in Cost and Project Management (Construction Consultancy), working on major commercial real estate, mixed-use and infrastructure projects across Tampa, Florida.

You'll support clients throughout the full project lifecycle, from estimating and procurement through cost control, change management and final account, working alongside experienced project teams on complex construction programmes.

About You:

• Relevant Cost Management / Quantity Surveying experience working for a Construction Consultancy.
• Experience working on medium to large-scale construction projects, ideally across commercial, high-rise, mixed-use, data centres or could be from any Private or Public sector projects background.
• RICS accredited or working towards chartership would be advantageous.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.
