Qualifications

• 2–8 years of cost management experience in construction.
• Experience in estimating, cost controls and project cost management.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.
• Knowledge of procurement routes, value management and value engineering.
• Experience with estimating tools and software.

Responsibilities

• Prequalify vendors, assess bids, and present recommendations to clients.
• Develop project estimates covering construction, fees, direct costs and other expenses.
• Establish cost reporting schedules and manage budgets, forecasts and risk registers.
• Review payment applications, change orders and contract disputes with project managers and vendors.
• Oversee invoicing processes and ensure timely settlements.
• Conduct final accounting, post-contract audits and project close-out.
• Create lessons learned and training materials for future projects.
• Utilize Bid Analysis Sheets, Change Control Forms, cost estimating software and take-off software.
