Job summary

ARCO Design/Build seeks a Cost Manager to oversee project cost management and financial controls for complex construction from preconstruction through closeout. You will partner with Project Managers, Superintendents, Preconstruction, Finance, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to establish budgets and forecast final costs.

The ideal candidate has strong construction cost-control experience and can translate financial information into clear guidance for project leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Five+ years of experience in construction cost control or project controls.
• Experience with Procore is required.
• Experience with complex construction projects (design-build, EPC, infrastructure).
• Advanced Excel and cost-reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain project budgets, cost codes, and cost-control procedures.
• Track costs, accruals, and forecasts; prepare cost reports and estimates at completion.
• Review financial data for accuracy and support decision-making.
• Coordinate cost information with schedules and progress measurement.
• Support change management and billing processes as needed.
