Job summary

South32 Group Operations Pty. Ltd. is seeking a Construction Coordinator – Mechanical, Concentrator to drive day-to-day construction activities at the Hermosa Project site near Patagonia, Arizona.

You will coordinate contractors, plan schedules, and ensure safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance across process facilities and supporting infrastructure. The role requires strong leadership, cross-cultural collaboration, and effective communication with internal teams and external partners

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of large-scale mining construction site management.
• Demonstrated field safety leadership and performance excellence.
• Strong English language communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage site construction contractors daily.
• Develop construction plans, schedules, and progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate contract and vendor activities with internal stakeholders.
