Job summary

Mortenson is seeking a Construction Coordinator II to provide day-to-day construction management support across projects, with exposure to staff at all levels. You will prepare progress reports, review technical documents, assist with start-up and close-out tasks, and maintain records.

Travel up to 100% is required, and you will contribute to safety and efficiency. The role emphasizes effective communication, documentation, and proactive involvement in project coordination and process

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and experience as a Construction Coordinator I or related degree.
• Strong Microsoft Office and internet skills.
• Construction experience preferred.
• Ability to learn and use various construction-management software.

• Strong Microsoft Office and internet skills
• Construction experience preferred
• Ability to learn and utilize different types of computer software used in Construction Management to support any aspect of a construction project
• Ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally
• Ability to effectively handle detailed information and meet deadlines
• Ability to multitask
• Active listening skills and effective communication including an openness to diverse input and feedback
• Ability to travel up to 100%

The base pay range for this role

is $64,000 MIN - $86,400 MAX. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%). Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
