Job summary

MaxxSouth Broadband is seeking a Construction Coordinator to support planning, coordination, and execution of network construction projects. This role collaborates with engineers, contractors, utility providers, and local agencies to deliver aerial and underground work safely and to quality standards.

Responsibilities include site surveys, inspections, coordinating contractors, reviewing progress and invoices, and maintaining pole attachments and drawings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED – required.
• 2+ years in cable/telecommunications or related technical field – required.
• Ability to read and interpret construction prints, maps and drawings – required.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record – required.
• Experience coordinating contractors and construction projects within the telecommunications industry – preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate aerial and underground construction projects, including new builds and maintenance.
• Conduct site surveys and document results.
• Perform construction inspections and QA reviews.
• Liaise between contractors and the Technical Services team.
• Assign work, track progress, and review invoices.
• Ensure work meets specs, quality standards, and safety.
• Maintain cable plant integrity.
• Coordinate pole attachments with utilities.
• Read and interpret system maps and drawings.
