Job summary

Gilbert Mechanical, a Legence Company, seeks a Controller to lead construction accounting, financial reporting and internal controls in a fast-paced Edina environment.

You will partner with Payroll, HR and operations to ensure accurate project cost data, timely close, and GAAP compliance, with Sage 300 CRE experience preferred. Bachelor’s in Accounting required and 7+ years in construction accounting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required; CPA preferred.
• 7+ years construction accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead policies, controls and month-end close with GAAP compliance.
• Oversee AR/AP, job costing, and general ledger functions.
• Prepare monthly financial reporting and KPI analysis.
• Coordinate with Payroll/HR and project managers.
