Job summary

gpac seeks an experienced Controller for a fully onsite construction role in Mesa, AZ. You will oversee accounting and financial operations with emphasis on WIP reporting, job costing, and project financials to support ownership.

Responsibilities include month-end close, AP/AR/payroll, GAAP compliance, and collaboration with Project Managers and leadership while driving improvements in internal controls and reporting for a $30M revenue environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably within construction.
• Must have construction contracting experience.
• Must have hands-on Foundation Software experience.
• Strong WIP and job-costing experience required.
• Experience with construction financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and month-end close.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite and collaborate directly with ownership and operations.

Position Overview

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction accounting, hands-on experience with Foundation Software, and a solid understanding of WIP reporting and job costing. This is a fully onsite position - no remote or hybrid work. The company generates approximately $30M in annual revenue.
