Job summary

Barnard Construction Company, Inc. in Bozeman, Montana, seeks a licensed construction attorney to serve as Contract Manager on a dedicated project team.

You will manage all contract aspects, review and negotiate terms, and coordinate with project leadership and outside counsel. Based in Bozeman with travel and relocation to projects across North America, you will leverage expertise in construction and insurance coverage law, federal contracting, and dispute resolution to protect project

Qualifications

• Licensed attorney with knowledge of construction and insurance coverage law.
• Minimum of 5 years experience.
• Familiar with contract negotiation and drafting.
• Experience with federal contracting law.
• Self-motivated, organized and a team player.
• Must be able to travel and relocate.

Responsibilities

• Contract review and oversight.
• Contract and changes negotiation.
• Federal and State OSHA matters.
• Work with project teams concerning contract issues.
• Work with management and field personnel concerning legal issues.
• Dispute resolution—negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and litigation.
• Collaborate with outside counsel and experts.
