Job Description

As a national leader in inspections, energy testing, and engineering for homebuilders across the United States, we’re looking for client-focused professionals who want to make a difference in the construction industry without the stresses and burdens of most construction careers. As a member of our team, you’ll work side by side with homebuilders to help them achieve their quality and energy compliance goals.

You will serve as a dually certified Quality Consultant and Rating Field Inspector, gaining experience in ground-up construction without swinging a hammer. On the Quality side, you’ll inspect homes under construction and verify that the builder’s code and quality goals are met. For Energy, you’ll inspect and test homes to ensure they meet local, state, and national energy performance codes.

Qualified candidates must have:

• New construction experience or knowledge
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to climb ladders, carry equipment up to 50 lbs, and enter tight spaces
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation
• Professional appearance and demeanor

Preferred qualifications include:

• Certified HERS Rater or Field Tester
• IRC Certification

This is a full-time, salaried position with bonuses, a standard 5-day work week, paid holidays and vacation, 401K, and health/dental/life/vision insurance.
