• Supervise construction clean‑up activities and oversee other cleaners to ensure work meets the required standards.
• Maintain an inventory of equipment and supplies needed for each job.
• Coordinate clean‑up behind subcontractors, preparing the area for the next team (e.g., flooring, painting, cabinetry).
• Properly dispose of debris and trash.
• Conduct walk‑throughs with contractors to understand expectations and receive any special clean‑up instructions.
• Follow up with contractors to confirm that the clean‑up met their expectations.
• Assisting with cleaning duties as necessary.
• Inspect work performed to ensure it meets specifications and established standards.
• Evaluate the physical condition of facilities to determine the type of work required.
• Plan and prepare employee work schedules.
• Check and maintain equipment to ensure it is in working order.
• Establish and implement operational standards and procedures for the department.

Post‑Construction Cleaning

Clean interior surfaces such as ceilings, fixtures, fans, lights, mechanical registers, walls, cabinets, windows, sills, mirrors, baseboards, countertops, appliances and other fixtures. Sweep and mop floors, outdoor sidewalks and patio spaces. Use appropriate cleaning products for each material type, avoiding harsh chemicals on delicate surfaces like granite, marble or quartz.
