Job summary

Steristat is seeking dependable, physically capable team members for on-call construction clean-up across commercial job sites in the Columbus area. Training is provided; no experience required. You will haul debris, operate cleaning equipment, and prep spaces for occupancy.

Travel to out-of-town sites is required, including overnight stays. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and handle bending, kneeling, ladder climbing, and standing for full shifts.
• Comfort working in an active construction environment.
• Availability for early mornings, evenings, or weekends as projects require.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%, including overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Remove and haul construction debris; load and manage dumpsters.
• Move materials, equipment, and supplies across the job site, lifting up to 50 lbs. repeatedly.
• Operate floor buffers, extractors, vacuums, and pressure washers.
• Do final clean on floors, fixtures, windows, and finished surfaces before occupancy walkthroughs.
• Work alongside other trades to keep projects on schedule.
• Follow all safety rules and PPE requirements.
• Travel with the crew to out-of-town sites, including overnight stays.

About the role

We’re hiring dependable, physically capable crew members for on-call construction clean-up across commercial job sites. This is hands-on work: hauling debris, running cleaning equipment, and getting finished spaces ready for occupancy. No experience? No problem. We train the right people.

What you’ll do

• Remove and haul construction debris; load and manage dumpsters
