Job summary

GSF USA is hiring a Construction Clean Operator to perform detailed post-construction cleaning of newly completed spaces in the Grand Rapids area. This hands-on role requires attention to detail and a collaborative mindset to ensure turnover readiness.

Responsibilities include removing dust, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning kitchens and fixtures, following project safety requirements, and working with the project team to meet schedules. Daytime hours, Monday–Friday, 20–40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Dependable and punctual in a construction cleaning setting.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure turnover quality.
• Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.
• Respect safety rules and site protocols at all times.
• Construction cleaning, janitorial or commercial cleaning experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed post-construction cleaning.
• Remove construction dust, dirt, and debris.
• Sweep, vacuum, mop, and scrub floors.
• Clean kitchens, appliances, cabinetry, and fixtures.
• Clean and detail restrooms.
• Clean doors, glass, mirrors, walls, and other surfaces.
• Clean hallways, stairwells, common areas, and entryways.
• Use commercial cleaning equipment and products.
• Follow all jobsite safety requirements.
